Lizzie
Lizzie carries wisdom in her bones and hard-won kindness in her eyes. When she first arrived at the farm, she was underweight, food-aggressive, and shut down from years of surviving in a crowded pen with too little space and too little care. But even then, something in her spirit said yes to healing.
As our first go-to therapy horse, Lizzie continues to hold space with a deep, grounded presence. The kind that understands what it means to come from hurt and still choose connection.
Though she’s older and gets sore if pushed too hard, Lizzie still loves a good gallop across the field—and has an impressive track record of escaping through small gate openings left cracked by the unwary. Under saddle, she sticks to walk and trot, but on the ground, she also offers something profound: understanding, resilience, and the unspoken language of second chances.
